Are you ready to tick 'Climb a Mountain' off on your bucket list? Join us for a challenge to remember on 15-16th October weekend to raise funds for the Transitions UK to make a difference to lives of young people!
We work especially with young people who have learning disabilities and special needs; those with emotional and mental health issues; those leaving care; and those at risk of offending or criminal exploitation.
Climb Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.
The Route - Llanberis Path
9 miles Round Trip, 970m, Ascent will take approx. 4 Hours and the descent approx. 3 hours Difficulty Level: Fair/Moderate
We will take the Llanberis Path route which is the most gentle incline up to the summit. You'll pass the impressive cliffs of Clogwyn Du'r Ardu - The "Dark, Black Cliff" and walk aloft the skyline ridge that dominates the Llanberis Path, and area steeped in mountaineering history.
What's included in your booking fee of £50?
Your accommodation YHA Pen-y-Pass (10 minute drive from Llanberis) and support with registration and leading up to event.
Finding your own accommodation?
There is a £15 registration for the event to secure your place and cover the administration/support in lead up to event.

Travel ( Please make your own way to accommodation on 15th October and start of walk on 16th October)

Car Parking and Accommodation
There are car parks and accommodation options in the village of Llanberis. We have booked YHA Pen-y-Pass for evening of 15th October and the registration fee covers this cost.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you wish to complete this challenge successfully it is definitely recommended that you are reasonably fit and that you are able to carry a light daypack with you for the duration of the hike.
