The Pedal Kart Event has been designed to work for all ages and backgrounds and create a team building event.
TUK - Formula Goblin (ages 8 – 11)
Ideal for schools, which can run the project as part of the design and technology/science curriculum. Design, build and race ready for Sept 2021 race days and improve year after year to give your students the lending edge in design and technology.
TUK - Formula Junior ages 11 – 16)
The Formula Junior challenge gives 11 – 16 year olds the opportunity to build and race a car of their own design. Aimed at schools but private entries, youth group and club teams are also welcome.
TUK - Formula Adult ages 17 Plus
Geared towards sixth forms, colleges, universities and apprentices to boost career and educational opportunities in Science, Technology, Maths and Engineering Teams design, build and race a finely tuned kart.
TUK - Formula Adult Corporates and local businesses
An Amazing opportunity to gather your treasured employees together in teams of 5 to work towards building or adapting a Go Kart that will promote your company brand as-well as the Well-being of your staff.
On the day teams of 5 will race around the track to see who can get the fastest combined time in their own Kart. The fastest member of each team will then enter into the Transitions Professional Built Track Kart that reaching close to 30 MPH to see who can nail the fastest lap of the day.
At Transitions UK we can aid in the sourcing of your kart and parts or you can design and build your own kart from scratch . The beauty of this challenge is that you can purchase a kart new or 2nd hand and then use as is or completely strip and rebuild with new or 2nd hand parts.
Upgrade the wheels of an old bike or maybe your Mums old buggy and maximise top end speed.
Customise your seat, change the colour and aerodynamics with your own rear spoiler to keep the G force close to the ground.
